I have had two very proud moments today! The day started with the most wonderful class assembly presented by Hedgehog class. The children shared this term’s learning from across the curriculum. We were wowed by their recorder playing, their singing and creative writing based on the story of ‘The Magic Paintbrush’. They also showcased their artistic talents with their clay canopic jars and even their skipping skills! Above all, what was clear was how hard the children are working and how much they are enjoying their learning – well done Hedgehog Class!
I then enjoyed hot chocolate at The Hub with our Year 6 children. This was an ‘extra special’ hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows to celebrate the children’s hard work and positive attitude towards the SATs they have taken this week. Then as we were leaving The Hub, a member of the public stopped me to tell me how impressed she was with the children’s behaviour – my heart glowed! Well done Year 6!
Have a lovely weekend. I am hoping it might get a bit warmer?!
