I hope you all enjoyed some quality time with your children during the Easter break. My ‘children’ are now 29 and 26. It was lovely to have them and their partners home for Easter; apparently, they are still not too old for Easter egg hunts! I also spent time in Yorkshire with extended family where I even got to hold and bottle feed a lamb!

The children have settled back to their learning with focus and determination. In assembly this morning we marvelled at some wonderful writing, we celebrated children mastering fractions and even being resilient navigating the classroom on crutches. The children have lots to be proud of.

The summer term always feels like a marathon filled with multiple events ranging from residential trips, external phonic and multiplication assessments, the Year 6 SATS, sports day and much more! Please check the calendar on the app / website to make sure that you have all key dates in your diary – it’s going to be busy!
