What an exciting week in school! Wednesday saw the formal opening of our Enhanced Resource Base (ERB) for our Woodland Class to move into. There are still some aspects to be finished, such as the installing of the outside play area, but the space is a wonderful provision for our children, especially with the addition of a purposefully furnished sensory room. We are looking forward to seeing the children settle into and enjoy their new space.
Then today we have had the result of Monday’s House Captain election. This is a big moment for our year 6 children. Those that wanted to stand for election gave a speech to their house on Monday and then all children and staff voted. This year we saw more candidates stand than in previous years. Well done to all who put themselves forward; we are very proud of you all. To be elected shows recognition of being an exemplary role model and suitability for pupil leadership responsibilities across school. A huge well done to:
- Yellow Team – Captain Imogen and Vice-Captain Louis
- Blue Team – Captain Val and Vice-Captain Freddie
- Green Team – Captain Fletcher and Vice-Captain Blake
- Red Team – Captain Maison D and Vice-Captain Olivia
