I have just enjoyed the most wonderful time with this week’s headteacher certificate winners. The children were literally buzzing about their week in school!
The Year 3 trip to Flag Fen was a highlight with much chatter about the round houses and artefacts they saw, whilst Year 5 / 6 told me all about their geography walk around the village identifying human and physical features. Year 2 were eager to share about the food they tasted at the Cambridge Synagogue and the activities they enjoyed at Kettle’s Yard art gallery last week. Across all year groups there was much excitement about DT projects being worked on this term – sewing Christmas decorations and light up Christmas cards to name two.
Whilst I obviously know about all these events happening in school, it was incredibly special to see the children’s happy faces and excitement in sharing the experiences we have provided. I literally witnessed the impact of the delivery of our school vision! A huge thanks to the team for making this so impactful for our children.
