It was lovely to see so many of you at the Summer Fayre last week. A huge thank you to the PTFA for spending so much time and effort in planning and organising the event and to all of the volunteers who set up, ran stalls and cleared away. The fayre would not be possible without a community effort. We are waiting to hear the total amount of money raised but we are confident that it will be enough to pay for new play equipment which will be installed during the summer holidays! A huge thank you from the MPS team – especially the children!
A high point this week was when Year 6 wowed us with their production of Mary Poppins. The children worked so hard and made their families and the school staff very proud. They impressed us with their group singing, solos and duets as well as their acting and stage production – making all of the props themselves. Well done Year 6 (and the teaching team); you were fab!
