It has been lovely to welcome you and especially the children back to school! A very special welcome to all new families who joined us yesterday; we hope you quickly feel part of our school family.
I have enjoyed chatting to the children and hearing about their summer holiday adventures. They have told me about trips to the seaside, favourite games played at home, time with family and for some even trips to faraway and exotic places.
During the summer break, much of the school has been painted and the teachers have worked hard preparing the classrooms for their new classes. The school looks great with sparkly classrooms and even sparklier children in their new uniform and shiny shoes! The challenge is going to be keeping both the corridor walls and those new shoes scuff free!
We have had a wonderful two days with the children and we are excited about all they are going to achieve this year.
